Terms of Use

These terms govern access to and use of Chaste websites, apps, dashboards, cooperative tools, realtor systems, wallet records, payment flows, and related services.

1. Eligibility and Verification

  • You must provide accurate information and complete any identity, membership, payment, suitability, or project-specific verification required.
  • Participation may be approved, restricted, suspended, or declined under cooperative policy, project terms, security controls, or applicable law.

2. Projects and Project-Specific Terms

Each project may have its own funding target, investment limits, dates, duration, allocation method, milestones, risks, fees, exit conditions, refund conditions, and versioned terms. Review and accept the applicable terms before committing funds.

3. Investment Risk and No Guarantee

Investments involve risk. Chaste does not guarantee project performance, profit, returns, distributions, property appreciation, liquidity, land allocation, or conversion. Outcomes and timing may vary, and past performance does not guarantee future results.

4. Units, Interests, and Shares

A confirmed payment may result in project units, proportional project interest, or authorised cooperative shares only where the applicable terms provide for that allocation. Project units and ordinary cooperative shares are separate records and are not automatically interchangeable.

5. Voting and Governance

  • Eligible proposal voting may follow one eligible member, one vote.
  • Investor decisions for a specific project may use voting weight based on confirmed investment or ownership percentage.
  • Some projects may be listed directly under authorised cooperative or board policy, and community polls may be subject to administrator review.

6. Payments, Fees, Refunds, and Reversals

  • Payment confirmation is required before access, units, interests, shares, returns, or wallet records are treated as final.
  • Fees, distributions, exits, and refunds follow the applicable project terms and approval process.
  • Errors, chargebacks, rejected payments, or unauthorised entries may be corrected with traceable reversals or adjustments rather than deletion.

7. Project Changes and Platform Availability

Material project changes may require a new version, notice, and the applicable cooperative, board, or investor approval. Chaste may restrict features or access for security, compliance, operational, or legal reasons and does not guarantee uninterrupted platform availability.
